I love it when you can read their story in the eyes.  With just one snapshot, you get a glimpse into their world and are able to see right to their core.  That’s what makes a great portrait to me. Whenever we travel, we try to grab a few portrait shots of the locals.  Sometimes we get Sir Grumpy Pants waving his hands in our faces, but most of the time, people are happy to pose for the camera.  Here are my faves.
